We are a part of a group of warriors. This is a group that we have grown to love. We began as complete strangers. A tragedy invited us to lean on each other. The sorrow in each of our eyes tell the story of those we have loved and lost. The members of this group are people who have outlived someone they loved deeply. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, cousins, aunts, uncles of someone who lost their life to substance death.
The Nashville Support For Lives Lost To Addiction group meets once a month. We also have a private facebook group that offers connection between meetings. This page is another place to use as an outlet of feelings, communication for gatherings, ideas for community outreach, and, most importantly, a more personal space to get to know either other and our loved ones.
Feel free to contact me (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you want to know more about the facebook support group and when and where the next meeting is scheduled to be held.
